The weekend will be suitable for people who have some experience of weaving, but beginners will also be welcome. Participants will be taught simple techniques appropriate to their level of ability and chosen design.
The time will be divided into periods for learning, discussion and weaving. I hope that participants will leave feeling strengthened by having had the opportunity to connect with their natural environment in a creative, peaceful and enjoyable way.
Jennie, who will be leading the weekend, is a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and an enthusiastic amateur weaver, with extensive experience of teaching weaving.
Rooms will be available from 3pm on Friday
Tea and cake at 4pm
Quiet Time 4.45pm
Supper at 6.30pm
First session 7.45pm
Breakfast is served on a tray to your rooms from 8:45am*
Lunch is served in bento boxes on trays from 1pm.
Retreat ends with lunch on Sunday. Departure 2pm.
*On arrival, you will fill out a form detailing which of our delicious breakfast options you would like, which can be changed at any time.

Welcome, kindness and generosity of the Claridge House team… They were wonderful and the meals were EXCEPTIONALLY good! We were incredibly well looked after.
Being surrounded just by quietness and nature was wonderful...it was heaven, mystic and relaxing, a real treat for soul and mind! The simplicity was just calming and enchanting a most amazing breakfast! AWESOME!
